FUN FACT: Where and when did Timber Frames start? Everywhere! England, Germany, Norway, Sweden, France, and Japan are some of the most historical places. Each style has its unique look and purpose for the region they derived. The settling of America clashed all these different styles into one creating an exceptional all-inclusive new style that took all of the different traditions and combined them. This is very apparent in the New England area of the United States.

What is a Timber Frame building and why would I want one?
A Timber Frame is a traditional building with large framing members connected with joinery. There are a lot of advantages; longevity, open layout, building strength, and the beauty of the exposed beams are just a few reasons to name.
How long do Timber Frames last?
As long as they are properly maintained there is no limit on how long they could last. There are Timber Frame structures still around today that are 900 years old!
